Games And Canon Act
Hamburgerlandia treats play as culture, craft, testing, and public gathering.
Official games must preserve their own canon, publish usable rules, and distinguish completed work from future work.
Definitions
- Official game
- A game recognized in a Hamburgerlandia record by the Games And Canon Directorate.
- Playtest
- A recorded attempt to play or simulate a game for rules, balance, usability, or production review.
Article I
Official games
1.1 Recognition
- Mirrorfall is the official tabletop role-playing game of Hamburgerlandia.
- Tommy's trading card game, mobile games, arcade games, and later recognized works may hold official standing.
1.2 Authority
- Recognition places the game and its public records under Tommy and the Lawbook.
- No game-created office, player result, token, card, or character may outrank Tommy.
Article II
Canon control
2.1 Source records
- Each official game shall identify its controlling manuscripts, rules, assets, and release record.
- A generated export is not the controlling source when an identified source file exists.
2.2 Changes
- Canon changes shall record their scope, reason, authorizing office, and affected products.
- An adaptation shall label additions that do not appear in the underlying canonical text.
Article III
Rules and accessibility
3.1 Complete rules
- A released game shall provide enough rules to begin, continue, resolve ordinary disputes, and finish a session.
- Examples and references shall agree with the controlling rules.
3.2 Access
- Public instructions shall use readable structure, meaningful labels, and alternatives for essential visual information.
- Required materials, device limits, age considerations, and account requirements shall be stated before play.
Article IV
Testing and balance
4.1 Evidence
- Playtests shall record version, participants or agent method, scenario, result, defects, and changes proposed.
- Automated or agent playtests shall not be described as outside-human playtests.
4.2 Balance
- Balance findings shall identify the rule, card, encounter, reward, or progression path examined.
- Known severe exploits or dead ends shall be corrected or disclosed before a final release claim.
Article V
Art and production
5.1 Asset standing
- Source art, candidates, approved art, generated layouts, proofs, and final production files shall remain distinguishable.
- A complete card count or book export does not prove that every illustration is approved.
5.2 Review
- Final visual approval shall check identity, consistency, cropping, text legibility, duplicates, missing images, and production dimensions.
- Corrections shall preserve the manifest identity of every affected card, page, or product.
Article VI
Competition and prizes
6.1 Events
- Official competitions shall publish eligibility, format, timing, judging, tie, conduct, correction, and prize rules.
- A contest shall not advertise an unavailable prize or undisclosed purchase condition.
6.2 Records
- Results and prize fulfillment shall be recorded by the responsible office.
- Cheating findings require stated evidence, a review path, and proportionate remedies.
Article VII
Stewardship
7.1 Directorate duties
- The Games And Canon Directorate shall maintain game indexes, version records, test evidence, and release standing.
- It may recognize maintainers and event stewards only within their recorded authority.
7.2 Public correction
- Rules errors, missing assets, and misleading release claims may be reported through the public questions process.
- Nothing in this Act alters Tommy's permanent authority or the rights protected by other Acts.
